WW2 Propaganda Posters
Posters of the Second World War
During the Second World War, the British government began a propaganda campaign to keep up the spirits of the British people and to ensure they knew how important the difficult wartime rules were if the war was to be won.
‘Dig for Victory’, ‘Coughs and Sneezes Spread Diseases’ and ‘Tittle Tattle Lost the Battle’ were a few of the popular slogans people became very familiar with.
Year 6 have been inspired by those we saw in Stockport Air Raid Shelters to design their own version.
